Location Painting Tests/Designs

First Painting with possible style. (Watercolour/acrylic like painting)
I wanted to nail the introduction setting I went for more natural looking colours at first but then considering the colour script I decided to go for a more surreal colour scheme to represent peace, calm and serenity. As seen below in the final image.

When I considered the forest I orginally wanted that to be more surreal, painting it in cool colours. But I decided against this, I didn't want the forest to look out of the ordinary to not detract from the experience that this idea is grounded in reality, that forests are real and need to be respected and preserved.

So I went with more natural earthy colours, yet i still wanted to keep it bright, so I contrasted browns with really bright greens.
